A Peaceful Scene Out the Window.

The tree limbs are cleaned up in the yard.
(Bob helped me do that this morning).
Three years worth of limbs have been
burned and are smoldering.
(Shirl Tomlinson lit a rip roaring fire today).
This evening a deer is sitting
across from the smoldering mound.
With his back to the fence, he contentedly
watches the glowing embers and smoke.
.
A scene of pure serenity.
Reminds me of enjoying the campfire
at night after a fun day in the
mountains with the family.

Yesterday's, "It Doesn't Get Any Better Than This Moment".

Standing in the yard
in the warm sun
without a sweater.
Talking and laughing
with two friends
and thinking,
.
"It just doesn't get any better than this."
