Thank you Christi for sharing pictures.

Fun St. Patricks Day.
Thank you Justin Beiber (look-alike) for
sharing your 'wearing of the green'.

Rylee's Cheer Review.
It was tender and emotional to watch
father and daughter dance together.
They were the handsomest couple.

The Gang together for a fun night.
Christi's beautiful mother is behind Logan.

Mason is an exciting, action player.
He's made some great plays on the field.
Look at that power swing.
The ball is by the ladies foot.

Don't be deceived by this sweet helping picture.
He has well earned the name -
Little Wild Man

One of "Wendy's" newest and finest.
Stunning - huh!!!

Follow the Prophet!

"Just as in the days of Noah,
a way is already prepared for the escape
of the Lord's elect,
if they are in tune with His prophets."

Another Rainy Day!

Mountains and fields are lusciously green.
The rain has been great for flowers and gardens.
BUT,
Orem City Days is having their big parade tomorrow.
There are wet soggy blankets for a couple
of blocks down Center street, marking family
places to view the festive parade.
The carnival riders this evening
were few and dressed in rain gear.

Bet your bottom dollar

Some Pictures are Soooo "Special".

After the goodbye party for Candice, Low and I went to Best Buy to look for me a new camera.
My new camera from a year ago is too complicated. I wanted a point and click version.
To make it a short story, Low walked out with a new camera too.

Thank you Mike for these photos. Love ya.

So True.

Excerpt from a talk by Margaret Nadauld in 2001.
Read today in R.S. by Marilyn Steele.

Women of God can never be like women of the world.
.
The world has enough women who are tough;
we need women who are tender.
.
There are enough women who are coarse;
we need women who are kind.
.
There are enough women who are rude;
we need women who are refined.
.
We have enough women of fame and fortune;
we need more women of faith.
.
We have enough greed;
we need more goodness.
.
We have enough vanity;
we need more virtue.
.
We have enough popularity;
we need more purity.

Hair Color Changes.

Sutton, at one day old, had
a head full of coal black hair.

Now he is a blond.

Candice arrived for school in January as a blond.

She is returning home in June as a saucy redhead.
.
(There are many highlights and color changes
in the families hair this year.)
.
Candice will be missed. It felt good to have her here.
Texas is way too far away.
.
I love you, my sweet Candice Jean.

The Mornings -

I enjoy working in the yard in the mornings and making a difference. I love to see the freshly turned earth minus the weeds that were there a few minutes before.

I made the Oral Surgeon chuckle today.
.
It was rather a nerve wracking ordeal today.
After the surgeon had finished with me, I stood up
feeling a little unsteady. With a swollen jaw
and a big wad of gauze in my mouth,
I thanked him and told him he was
fun, fun, fun to be with.

Life Has its Ups and Downs.

Last evening, outside at the church, there was a R. S. Activity with the men invited. We learned about alternative cooking methods for emergency preparedness. It was very informative. For dessert we enjoyed strawberry shortcake.

Today I go to an Oral Surgeon. The bill is soooooo appropriate. It is $230.00. That's 230 like "tooth hurty".

Wish Our Family Could Have Been There.

Last evening when I went to the cemetery Antoine, Barbara, most of their children and some of their grandchildren were there. They have a beautiful, active and growing family. Sunday they had been to the Payson cemetery for Barbara's relatives. Yesterday they paid tribute to the Harris side of the family. While Barbara and I caught up on family news on one bench, their family gathered at another bench with some sitting in a circle on the ground. They talked and visited and Antoine told them old family stories about relatives. At one point, I heard some of the grandchildren ask him to tell of when he was a small boy and was hit by a truck. Which he did.
It was a lovely, peaceful evening. There were, of course, an abundance of flowers of every color which added greatly to the beautiful setting. I am grateful that I happened to be there the same time Antoine's family was. It was fun to see and visit with them. It has been years since I have seen some of the girls.
Barbara is having a surgical procedure Wednesday. Prayers for peace and blessings that all may be well are needed for her at this time.
To be able to visit with Antoine, Barbara and their family made it a special Memorial Day for me.
