Everett was born with his left hip staying out of the socket. His right hip would slip in and out. He was to wear this brace for 24/7 the first week. Madison was unable to change his clothes other than his diaper. The second week, he was suppose to wear the brace for 23 hours. He could have an hour out of the brace to enjoy a bath and change of clothes. The third week, the brace was to be worn for sleeping and naps only. This was to continue for 6 to 8 weeks.The second week sonogram showed things were progressing very well, BUT, the Dr. decided it would be wise to keep on the 24/7 schedule for another week. Madison takes Everett in tomorrow for another sonogram and I will update this post after their visit.
