"Sunday's Quote"

(4)
Grateful for the cards Breanne made
for a help to memorize,
"The Living Christ".

He instituted the sacrament as a reminder of
 His great atoning sacrifice.
He was arrested and condemned on spurious charges,
convicted to satisfy a mob,
and sentenced to die on Calvery's cross.
He gave His life to atone for the sins of all mankind.
His was a great vicarious gift in behalf of all
who would ever live upon the earth.

Enjoy the Blessings of Sunday ~ Mom

Projects!

This started out as an Afgan for a Baby,
but I kept going and going like the Ever Ready Bunny.
I've crocheted it during the last two
 long, cold, bleak winters.
It is now finished, done, ended and complete
at over six feet long.
O Happy Day!!!

I had this material in my stash.
(loved the Scotty Dogs)
Found this pattern on line
and walaa, I ended up with this.

Just need to decide on borders and
soon another project will be done.

~The Living Christ~

He entreated all to follow His example.
He walked the roads of Palestine,
healing the sick, causing the blind to see,
raising the dead.
He taught the truths of eternity,
the reality of our premortal existence,
the purpose of our life on earth, and
the potential of the sons and daughters of God
in the life to come.

Lynzie's Visit!

Lynzie spent a Thursday afternoon with her gramps Low and grandma J.
It was a beautiful ride through the canyon and into Heber Valley.
We ate a pizza in the parking lot at the HotPots in Midway.
Then enjoyed some of the best ice cream found anywhere.
Grandpa and Grandma sure love their Lynzie!!!

~The Living Christ~

He was the Great Jehovah of the Old Testament, the Messiah of the New.  Under the direction of His Father, He was the creator of the earth.  "All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made" (John 1:3).  Though sinless, He was baptized to fulfill all righteousness.  He "went about doing good" (Acts 10:38), yet was despised for it.  His gospel was a message of peace and goodwill.

"When God designed the landscape project for planet earth, He was so genius.  He designed it in such a way He would never have to show up to work.  It is completely self sustained."

Family Fun!

This Family Knows How to Have Fun!

But,
They sure work hard too!

I enjoyed the first part of the week at their home. I was there to tend Sutton, but it was a vacation and R&R for me.  I love spending time with all my family.
~
Mike and Christe both work hard and make a positive change to their family and community.
I was amazed one evening to hear about Christi's schedule at work that day. WOW, Stress!  But, she handles it very well.  Mike works outside in all types of weather conditions. He showed me beautiful custom work  he had designed and built to fit areas on a home. Very Impressive!   One evening I watched as they cared for the family,  finished projects, checked finances and did chores that needed to be done for that day and to get ready for the next.  Their days activities start early and finish late.
~
Mas is a hard working school lad. He always is involved in a sport.  He has a job after school and this
summer at the golf course.  He is on a golf league with five players this spring. Utah Valley has a tournament once a week. The three players with the lowest score the day before the tournament play in the tournament.
Mas has played each week.
~
Ry has goals and has and is working hard preparing for her future.  Besides finishing school, she is training 80 hours in a pharmacy.  Later she will train 40 hours in the hospital.  High School graduation is next month.  Then off to College in the Fall.
~
Sutton is a rambunctious little guy. So smart!  He plays hard and learns fast.  What fun to spend time with him.  Everybody loves Sut!!!
~
I feel so greatly blessed because of my family.
   ~
I know the family is central to the Creator's plan and His "Plan of Happiness" enables family relationships to continue beyond the grave into the eternities.

Much Love and Blessings to all,  Mom

"Sunday Quote"

Breanne has typed,
 "The Living Christ:
The Testimony of the Apostles,
on colored cards attached on a ring to be memorized
by all the girls in her Stake who attend girls camp this
summer.  Liz gave me a copy yesterday.
It is a beautiful, powerful testimony.
I have the first card memorized.

~The Living Christ~

As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ
two millennia ago, we offer our testimony of
the reality of His matchless life and the infinite
virtue of His great atoning sacrifice.  None other
has had so profound an influence upon all who
have lived and will yet live upon the earth.
